Annual General Meeting 2023

9 September 2023, Goschenhof Arabians,
Goschenhof 1, 91717 Wassertrüdingen (Germany)

This year we are invited by the Gerbershagen family to be guests at the stud farm
Goschenhof Arabians in Wassertrüdingen near Dinkelsbühl in Bavaria.

Click here for the agenda and registration.

The family farm promises a special experience, especially since both Christoph
as well as Thamar Gerbershagen were passionate riders when they fell in love with Asil Arabians and
and hence used their Asils as family horses under saddle and in front of the carriage. Today, the young generation is reviving this use of the stud horses. (Photo right: Alrahed Ibn El Allah Abu, Photo: J. Jonientz)

On Saturday, September 9, 2023, we will meet around 1:30 p.m. at the beautifully restored Goschenhof.
On Saturday we will have the general meeting, on Sunday there will be the possibility to participate in excursions in the surrounding area. The Limeseum and Dinkelsbühl can be visited individually and self-organized in groups, the guided tours in the Nördlinger Ries can only take place in groups with enough participants (approx. 8-10, max. 30 persons) and have to be booked in advance.

The guest lecture will be given by the well-known trainer, author and Neindorff-student Dorothee Baumann-Pellny who will speak about training Asil Arabians under saddle, and who will also present her new book (Was die Reitbahn uns lehrt, Olms 2022). As always, food and drinks will be provided.

If you still have time and energy on Sunday, 10 Sept., it's "Open Monument Day" in Dinkelsbühl.
